Kettering Driving Test Routes - 6
(7/11/25, 8.10)
1. Drive out of the Driving Test Centre and turn left and then right onto Orion Way.
2. Pull over on the left and drive on again.
3. At the roundabout follow the road ahead taking the 2nd exit. At the second roundabout follow the road ahead taking the 3rd exit.
4. At the next roundabout follow the road ahead taking the 2nd exit.
5. At the next roundabout take the 2nd exit onto A14 heading east.
6. Take the next exit and at the roundabout take the 3rd exit to the right.
7. Following signs to the A6 towards Bedford.
8. At the roundabout take the 1st exit onto the A6. At the next roundabout take the 2nd exit following the road ahead.
9. 9. At the roundabout take the 2nd exit to the right towards Burton Latimer Garden Centre entering Cranford Road.
10. Pull over (you will pass Woodford Road and Bird Street on your left).
11. Do parallel park.
12. Drive on.
13. (you will pass Meeting Lane on your left) At the mini roundabout turn right onto High Street. Turn left onto Pioneer Avenue.
14. On Pioneer Avenue – pull over on the left.
15. Pioneer Avenue bends to the right leading onto William Street.
16. At the end of the road turn left onto Station Road. Pull over on the left and drive on again.
17. (you will pass Bridle Road on the left). Continue on Station Road, follow this road for a while.
18. You will come to a traffic light controlled bridge. You will pass EasyMix concrete on the right.
19. Come to the traffic lights.
20. At the end of the road turn left onto A509 Kettering Road.
21. (pass Church Street on the left). At the mini roundabout take the 2nd to the right onto Orlingbury Road.
22. Continue on Orlingbury Road
23. Continue on Orlingbury Road
24. Continue on Orlingbury Road, this leads onto Isham Road (The Leys is on your left).
25. At the crossroads turn right onto Rectory Lane.
26. At the T junction turn right onto Pytchley Road.
27. Turn right onto Orlingbury Road towards Pytchley. (the sign on the left says “Pytchley 1”).
28. Continue on Orlingbury Road.
29. Enter Pytchley on the Orlingbury Road.
30. (pass Butchers Lane on the left).
31. At the end of the road turn left (onto Isham Road) and then immediately right onto Kettering Road (Glebe Farm is on your right).
32. Continue on Kettering Road.
33. At the roundabout take the 1st exit onto Orion Way.
34. Follow the road as it bends to the left and then to the right. Turn left and then right into the Driving Test Centre.
2. Pull over on the left and drive on again.
3. At the roundabout follow the road ahead taking the 2nd exit. At the second roundabout follow the road ahead taking the 3rd exit.
4. At the next roundabout follow the road ahead taking the 2nd exit.
5. At the next roundabout take the 2nd exit onto A14 heading east.
6. Take the next exit and at the roundabout take the 3rd exit to the right.
7. Following signs to the A6 towards Bedford.
8. At the roundabout take the 1st exit onto the A6. At the next roundabout take the 2nd exit following the road ahead.
