Hill Starts
Drive slowly, normally first gear.

If turning left up a ramp then try to go to the right to get the angle up if you can.

Hill start skills very important here.

Make sure the clutch is slightly higher than normal and pulling forward before you release the handbrake.

As you go down, try to keep the gears engaged, you may need to dip the clutch if the car judders and you feel it is about to stall.

As it is only a short distance down you can use the footbrake without any serious risk of brake fade.
